Captured in a back yard, we do what we call a Lifestyle Session because we never know what's going to happen ... except life, and a session. Perfect for milestones, we capture the honoree in whatever stage they're in, doing the things they love. I adore this family because we just roll with whatever unfolds and it always ends up beautiful. This time the honoree was Davney and her nine month milestone. The youngest of three, she already fit in well with her laughter and smiles. Playing in the backyard, older brother dug a hole while we captured some of Davney, and sister sat nearby and told me about school. I photograph whatever they wanted and then show them the pictures. They got the idea so they show me more. Intermittently, I ask them to stand specifically when I'm photographing whatever treasure they're presenting (because I'm really getting a close-up of their face and that huge grin). We laugh and move on. We move to the front and capture some of the family in front of the house. Life and houses change, so we wanted to capture them in this particular stage as a growing family in their first home. They pose in the yard for one last good image of the family then the two older ones ask about supper. We smile for one more and put away the camera.
